Phase 1: Health Assesment
- Inital assessment revealed discarded tuner on dash and visable CAN wires that have been altered
- Scan of vehicle revealed codes for transmission pressure low, shift error on 3-4, Com codes from different modules. Does not go into limp mode, transmission is trying to adapt, possible leak or valve body channel issue. deemed non mechanical after test drive. case accepted, compile estime for valve body inspection deeper diag to be scheduled
Phase 2: Inital inspection and Hands on
- Inspection revealed cancer throughout engine block, heavy degridation, Parts shipment delayed for valve body, compile shopping list for rust remediation and ground resets (Remove, cut back to clean copper, Clean mating surface, reattatch and supplement with dilectric grease
- Main harness grounding points located
- Harness map updated, areas have been media blasted/ degreased, pressure washed and primed, engine enamel to be sprayed at completion. disassebly of wiring revealed an aftermarket ECM, Leaking Trans fluid cooler line, cleaner than the rest transmission case, heavy evidence of electrolosis on aluminum components, Adding confidence to electrical fault, leak and wires must be addreessed before valve body is accessed, Client Supplied $300 to the Shopping list for rust remidation.>
Phase 2A: Test drive, relearn all adaptive settings
- Test drive was moderatly unsecessful, while the gear dropout was noticeably less, live data shows the system running at 70% of expected pressure, Codes for Low pressure and 4th gear ratio populated, need to call programmer of aftermarket ECM for their notes, valve body is backordered through all suppliers.
- Completed wire trace for alarm system, that can start to be reinstalled while waiting. Along with finalization of remediation
Phase 3: Final Diagnostics
- Pending completion of grounding
